Designs range from a surreal candle holder and a candle holder in the style of a Lichtenstein to a bracket based on the Bauhaus period. These are projects that have a foot in the real world and scope of the average secondary design and technology department.

This excellent pack of worksheets was originally produced by Sally Williams when she was a first year, undergraduate student teacher. They show her thoughts and design ideas for a mechanical toy - her choice being a pull along toy. The result is a consistent house style throughout and her thoughts including research, initial ideas, developing ideas, final design choices, panning for manufacture, working drawings and final evaluation.
